FAQ

  • A gentle, hands-on practice that works directly with the nervous system to release tension, calm stress, and restore natural flow.

It’s simple, powerful, and no — it doesn’t involve cracking bones. Clients often tell me they’re amazed at how much shifts in just one session.

Spinal Flow isn’t about force — there’s no pushing, cracking, or manipulation. You stay fully clothed while we invite your body to soften, release, and realign naturally.

That cut that heals? Those bones that mend? That’s your body’s own intelligence at work.

Given time, space, and safety, it’s incredible what your body can do.

It’s not a quick fix. It’s a gentle, powerful way of working with your nervous system — so your body can release, realign, and return to balance.

  • That depends on your goals.

If you’re after relaxation or stress relief, occasional sessions can be beautiful.

But if you’re ready for lasting change with chronic conditions, I recommend multiple sessions per week at the start to build momentum.

It’s like peeling back the layers of an onion — the deeper we go, the more flow we create, and the greater your quality of life becomes.

  • We’ll begin by placing gentle sacral blocks under your pelvis. I’ll lightly touch specific points on your body called access points — including your head, sacrum, hamstrings, and feet.

These signal to your body that it’s safe to rest and release.

You stay fully clothed, so wear something loose and comfortable (think pyjamas — and yes, you’re welcome to wear yours. You wouldn’t be the first!).

Spinal Flow is non-invasive, deeply relaxing, and suitable for all ages.

    Emotional + Energetic Release

Every session is unique. Some people feel joy, peace, or a deep sense of relief; others may cry, laugh, or simply drift into calm.

Your body and energy are unwinding — it’s all welcome here.

    Heightened Awareness

As you continue sessions, you’ll become more attuned to your body’s sensations and messages.

This awareness naturally extends into your life, helping you make choices that support your wellbeing.

    Discomfort + Toxin Release

It’s common to feel mild discomfort, emotional waves, or detox symptoms (like headaches or fatigue) as your body clears what it’s been holding.

Drink plenty of pure water afterward — or ask me for directions to the nearby spring if you’re local!

    Hydration supports your healing beautifully.

If anything feels intense, rest, breathe, and reach out if you’re concerned. Healing isn’t always linear, but it’s always progress.

  • Aftercare Tips

    • Move gently — walking, stretching, or light yoga are great.

    • Avoid heavy lifting right after your session.

    • Listen to your body and rest as needed.

    • Nourish yourself with good food, good water, and things that bring you joy.

  • If you have a spine, you can receive Spinal Flow.

That said, as your body releases long-held physical, chemical, and emotional stress, you might feel things intensify before they ease — what’s known as a healing response.

It’s your body recalibrating. Stay hydrated, rest, and reach out if you need reassurance.

Hi, I’m Cass

My path into healing wasn’t direct. It was shaped by illness, trauma, and a whole lot of learning how to survive hard seasons.

For years, I avoided my pain and pushed through — until my body said no. I became extremely unwell, running on empty.

When I discovered nervous system healing and energy work, everything changed. I finally began to feel safe in my body again — lighter, stronger, and truly connected.

I live with a connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hypermobile type). I spent years trying to manage it with treatments that left me frustrated and exhausted. When I learned the power of this gentle work — and stopped trying to force my nervous system to behave — everything softened.

I made peace with my body, and now enjoy a far better quality of life.

That’s what I want for you, too.

I don’t believe in fixing people — you’re not broken. I simply hold space for your body’s own wisdom to rise to the surface, while offering grounded guidance (and a cheeky laugh when needed).
